It’s a big delight to announce that 15 of our students will be performing this year at the annual AfricaInternational Music Festival holding at La Campagne Tropicana Beach, Lagos.

ABOUT AFRICA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL

Africa International Music (AIM) Festival is an annual music festival which takes place in Lagos at the Luxury African themed forest, River and Beach resort, Lacampagne tropicana beach resort.

An activation of motherland beckons in partnership with the African Union Economic and Cultural council (AU-ECOSOCC), AIM festival was created to showcase the uniqueness and diversity of African Music as well as harnessing artistic potentials in the continent.

AIM festival is also an avenue for music lovers, content researchers and documentary producers to experience live music from the 56 countries of the continent in one Venue!

AIM Festival is part of the programmes being held to highlight the African Union Year of Culture, Heritage and Art which is meant to showcase and promote the rich contemporary African music, dance and culture that exists on our continent, a focus that is aligned with Aspiration 5 of the African Union’s AGENDA 2063.

The Festival features concerts, dance, African arts, African inspired fashion shows and African cuisine. It also features presentations of indigenous music and dance by artists from the fifty-six (56) African countries.

WHY AIM FESTIVAL

Africa, is known to be the home for world best indigenous content related music, a diverse culture and heritage. Ironically, there is no platform for lovers of African music to experience live indigenous music from the different countries in Africa.
AIM Festival was created as a platform where African music lovers, content producers and music talent scouts can experience live music from the 56 countries in one venue.
