Course Description:

The Music Performance Program at Tenstrings Music Institute is a comprehensive and professional training program designed to prepare aspiring music artists for success in the music industry as performers, whether as instrumentalists or singers. The program aims to develop highly competent and well-rounded music artists who excel in all aspects of their artistic work.

Course Modules:

1. Rudiments of Music: This module provides a solid foundation in music theory, notation, and basic musical concepts. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the essential elements of music, including rhythm, harmony, melody, and form.

2. Voice Training: In this module, you will receive specialized training to enhance your vocal abilities. You will learn proper vocal techniques, breathing exercises, vocal range development, and performance skills to maximize your potential as a singer.

3. Instrument Training: You will choose one musical instrument for focused training. Whether you’re interested in guitar, piano, drums, or any other instrument, you will receive expert guidance to develop your skills and proficiency as an instrumentalist.

4. Songwriting: This module focuses on the art of songwriting. You will learn the principles of song structure, melody writing, lyric composition, and creative techniques to express your musical ideas effectively.

5. Music Business Studies and Entertainment Industry Expo: Understanding the business side of the music industry is crucial for success. This module covers various aspects of the music business, including contracts, marketing, branding, copyright, and the role of technology. You will also have the opportunity to participate in an Entertainment Industry Expo, where you can network with industry professionals and gain valuable insights into the music industry.

Course Details:

Course Duration: Six months

Lecture Schedule: Three times weekly

Sessions: Morning, evening, and weekend sessions are available to accommodate different schedules.

Fees:
– Local Students: Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N350,000)
– International Students: One Thousand US Dollars ($1000)

*Fees must be paid in full before commencing a six-month course.

Note: Lekki/Ajah Centre charges an additional 20% on tuition fees.
